Health Check-up Programme – Tofapur Centre (26 July)

On 26 July, a Health Check-up Programme was successfully conducted at our Tofapur Centre for the women associated with the centre. During the programme, iron, calcium, and mineral supplements were distributed, and participants received basic health counselling.
Nirmal Sakhi Ms. Neha Yadav conducted a counselling session for adolescent girls, focusing on education, nutrition, personal hygiene, health awareness, and self-confidence.
Through video conferencing, Major P. Mishra and her team patiently listened to the concerns of the women and provided valuable guidance and practical solutions. We sincerely express our gratitude to Major Ma'am and her entire team for taking time out of their busy schedule to support and encourage the community.
Another young girl visited the centre today seeking admission for graduation. The Board unanimously decided to approve her admission to support her higher education.
Women were also educated about healthy living, balanced nutrition, personal hygiene, and healthy lifestyle practices.
It was also announced that the foundation of a permanent centre will be laid soon, which will provide continuous support for education, healthcare, and skill development for women and girls in the area.
The overall arrangements for the programme were exceptionally well managed by Mr. Neeraj Yadav and Mr. Rohit Yadav, whose efforts are highly appreciated.A free sanitary pad facility has also been made available at the centre. Any woman, adolescent girl, or daughter associated with the centre who requires sanitary pads can collect them free of cost from Nirmal Sakhi Ms. Neha Yadav. This initiative aims to promote menstrual hygiene awareness and ensure that every woman and girl has access to essential menstrual hygiene products with dignity
